YEAR: 2016
TYPE OF PROJECT: Restaurant
DELECTO

Menu and material tests
"A chef should strive to be consistent with experience, but not consistent in taste."
- Burnt
It is by reflecting on these words by the great three Michelin stars chef of Burnt that the idea about this project was born. Delecto is the Italian restaurant with a minimal menu changing every day: on the carte, there are just two options, consisting in one main course and a dessert, for a total of 365 (x2) dishes in a year. The purpose of this new restaurant industry model is to allow clients to rediscover the sizeable culinary variety of the Italian peninsula, by offering them all the traditional recipes prepared with daily-fresh ingredients and presented with the grand chefs' style. The pleasure of the fragrances and Mediterranean tastes matches with a bright blank space, which emphasises the vivid and intense colours of both the food and the furniture.
For the "new business models" series, another flash-project limiting its focus on concept, this time without a real space assigned. Idea, logo and feel of a location whose aim is to delight and be a different choice every day of the year.
